Exceptional OLD WORLD hotel with modern conveniences. The first impression is that it’s a bit fusty but once inside it’s a marvel. Yes, the furnishings rely on chintz (the best meaning) in pattern and design but it’s all really very comfortable and welcoming. Like the 4- poster (sort of, without the posts but the swags) and the stuffed furniture. The bathroom is very traditional in appearance (verde marble, chrome faucets, etc) but with modern appliances. And the shower was the best we had in our 3 weeks throughout Northern Italy in 4-5 star hotels: commodious, really forceful shower, steady temperature, safety floor). The breakfast was excellent with the very best croissants I’ve ever had from a hotel that were perfectly flakey and buttery. Same for the pain au chocolat. And as a hot chocolate affecionato, the individually prepared (requested lactose-free) version was dark, sweet and extra thick. Swell! I don’t usually swoon, but that hot chocolate and those croissants! I can’t speak for the spa, since we were too busy discovering a very over-looked city but a quick gander looked awfully inviting.

This is an excellent hotel for a sightseeing base, and you have the option to use the spa. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The staff were super efficient. There were a few minor issues. Our "superior" room was very small and nothing like the ones in the photos. Coffee making facilities were not provided but we were given a kettle etc when we requested one. The spa has no changing rooms so you need to go in your robe and swimwear which is a little awkward! It was also incredibly hot in the hotel. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but would probably not go back.

The top advantage of Hotel Victoria is the location. We were walking distance from all the sites of interest, Palazzo reale, museo egizio, piazza carlina etc. As well as bigger retail stores and smaller boutiques. The room was spacious and very comfortable, staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent with variety of protein, fruit, and some veggies and desserts. Lots of space in the Breakfast room and was frequently replenished. We enjoyed the spa but bear in mind they want you to wear a swim cap.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It has an old fashioned elegance and it's in a great location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. There was air conditioning. The spa is fantastic and the breakfast was so good. We really liked that you could go straight from your room in a swimming suit and robe to the spa. We also loved that you could eat breakfast on the terrace and that there are comfortable lounge areas to read in. We would absolutely stay again.

A warm and cozy mid-sized hotel in a perfect location on a quiet street in the centre of Turin. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and some delightful common spaces, including a spacious and comfy lounge, and a lovely breakfast room. The breakfast was outstanding, with a buffet with a huge choice of food, and excellent service from the charming staff for your choice of hot drinks. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the surrounding blocks are packed with excellent dining options.
